Memory Loop

LIMITED EDITION OF 6 SILKSCREEN PRINTS X 12 DESIGNS

From an architectural point of view, spaces are determined by the perimeter -even if that frontier is not a physical one- a basic configuration of a container and content. How do we approach to that perimeter, the relation between that border, the context, and other containers; the interaction of the border itself and the content, not from a physical experience but from mindful and sensory experience, is the starting point for Memory Loop.  A series of silkscreen prints that recreates overlapped spaces of Caracas architecture, landscaping and public art.

The synthesis of multiple perimeters juxtaposed, blended through the use of solid pure black, opens up a new gate to remember the architectural and sensory space in a different way. Thus the use of yellow paint, that folds through the architectural space  and invades the pieces, the expansion of the border is achieved.

This is not art, it is a document that communicates a live organic space, a place in the memory.
