ara collection is the result of the experimentation with volume and movement that could be reached by the use of multiple layers of paper. A sexy wink to the kinetic art movement and the historic relation between France and America during the late 60’s and 70’s as creation hubs. 

ara is manufactured in close collaboration between Paris and New York, with a body composed of more than 150 sheets of fire-resistant and water-repellant “papier” ranging from 200 up to 5000 linear feet of length, masterfully assembled on flat pads that show the bold curvy and gracious design. ara features 5 different modules with multiple sizes and color iterations, for pendant, floor and table applications.
