Rodolfo Agrella: simplicity & flexibility

Text: Maria Elena Fauci

2012

Born in Caracas in October 1984, after graduating from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the Central University of Venezuela in 2007, Rodolfo Agrella studied at the Milan Polytechnic. While in Milan he worked in the offices of Cino Zucchi Architetti and Sardi Innovations and Design. His work is characterized by the elimination of the barriers between Industrial Design, Graphics, Photography, Textile Design, Visual Arts, Gastronomy and Architecture. After some experiences, his work developed into a more interdisciplinary process that lead him to his actual production: objects sensitive to touch, taste and sight with an elevated level of simplicity and purity, and an evident link with a social context and a changing society.
